Green Team Hogans Creek Cleanups

Green Team Fellows, as well as their family and friends have the opportunity to SERVE their communty and advocate (LEAD) for Hogans Creek. Join Groundwork Jacksonville and other local organizations in a cleanup along Hogans Creek to help this troubled tributary of the St. Johns River and beautify the Historic Springfield neighborhood.

During each cleanup, Fellows will SERVE by assisting the site leads to set up, sign volunteers in, and helping volunteers with supplies.

Four Fellows, at each cleanup, will LEAD by, working in pairs, introducing the story of Hogans Creek to community volunteers. Each Fellow will be given the a passage about the specific section of the Creek to share during the cleanup. Those Fellows who sign up for this role, will credited an additional event.

Groundwork will supply gloves, trash bags and water. If you have a Green Team shirt, please wear it. Wear closed toe shoes, long pants and a hat, as well as, bring a reusable water bottle.

 

To register for each Cleanup, click the register button above and follow the links to select the specific cleanup and role i.e. Serve or Lead. You can also register family members and friends as additional attendees.
